Hull Fight Night 2

The second chapter of Hull's biggest student fight night. A brand-new venue, new fighters, a levelled-up production, and the same electric atmosphere that sold out Fight Night 1 in days. This is white-collar boxing built for students, by students.

What to Expect

If you were at Fight Night 1, you already know: the roar when the first fighter walks out, the bass shaking the floor, the haze parting under the ring lights. FN2 takes everything that made the first event a sell-out and pushes it further.

The venue moves to Wilberforce College — a purpose-fit space that gives us more room for a bigger stage, improved sightlines, and a better bar setup. The capacity is capped at 499 to keep the atmosphere tight and the energy concentrated. This is not a cavernous arena show; it is a packed room where you can feel every punch land.

Expect a full undercard of white-collar bouts featuring university students from Hull and the surrounding area. Every fighter goes through an eight-week coached training programme before stepping into the ring. Bouts are matched on weight and experience, supervised by licensed referees, with ringside medical staff on standby throughout the night.

What's New vs Fight Night 1

  • New venue

Wilberforce College replaces PQ Event Space. Better sightlines, a dedicated bar area, and easier access from east Hull and the university campus.

  • Tighter capacity

499 vs 640 at FN1. A deliberate choice — a smaller room means a louder, more intense atmosphere. Fight Night is not about packing in numbers; it's about the energy in the room.

  • Upgraded production

More projectors, improved LED wall placement, better sound system coverage, and a reworked lighting rig designed specifically for the Wilberforce layout.

  • New fighters

A completely fresh card. Applications are open to university students across Hull — no boxing experience required. Eight weeks of coached training before the event.

The Night — Start to Finish

Doors open at 6pm. Grab a drink from the bar, find your spot, and soak in the build-up. The DJ sets the tone early — this is not background music; it is the warm-up for what is coming.

First bell at 7pm. The ring lights drop, the haze fills the room, and the first fighters walk out to their chosen walk-on track. Each bout is three rounds of two minutes, with a one-minute rest between rounds. The ring announcer keeps the energy high and the crowd informed.

The bar runs all night. Drinks are available throughout the event. Pre-order drink packages when you buy your ticket to skip the queue on the night.

Afterparty. When the final bell rings and the last results are announced, the ring comes down and the venue flips. The DJ keeps going, the lights change, and the afterparty kicks off. Your ticket covers the afterparty — no extra charge.

Safety & Welfare

Fighter safety is the foundation of every Fight Night. All fighters complete a medical questionnaire and fitness assessment before being matched. Bouts are supervised by licensed referees who can stop the fight at any point. Ringside paramedics and first-aiders are present throughout.

For attendees, RAVOK operates a welfare team on-site. There is a quiet space available if you need a break from the noise. Security is SIA-licensed, and the venue is fully accessible with step-free entry and accessible toilets.

Tickets

Early bird tickets are live now — £25, limited to 100. Fight Night 1 sold out in days, and these won't hang around either. Once the early birds are gone, the price goes up. No second chances.

All tickets are digital — delivered to your email and stored in your RAVOK account. Show the QR code on your phone at the door. Drink packages can be added at checkout to skip the bar queue on the night.
