What is RAVOK Fight Night?
RAVOK Fight Night is a white-collar boxing event built by students, for students. Fighters are everyday university students with no prior boxing experience who sign up, train for eight weeks under qualified coaches, and step into a professional 17-foot boxing ring in front of hundreds of their peers.
Every bout is supervised by licensed referees and ringside medical staff. Fighters wear full protective equipment — headguards, 16oz gloves, gumshields and groin guards. Safety is non-negotiable; the whole point is that anyone can do it.
The production goes far beyond a boxing card. DJ sets, a full AV and lighting rig, LED walls, haze machines, and a purpose-built ring in a venue transformed for the night. The bar runs all evening, and there is always an official afterparty included in the ticket.
Most importantly, every Fight Night raises money for charity. December 2025 raised £2,694 for Movember, and the series continues to partner with causes that matter to the student community.
How to fight on a RAVOK card
- 01
Sign up
Open to any student, no boxing experience and no fitness requirement. You register your interest and we take it from there.
- 02
Train for eight weeks
Coached sessions with qualified trainers, plus medical screening before you are cleared to compete.
- 03
Get matched
Fighters are paired on weight and experience, so nobody walks out against someone they cannot be matched with.
- 04
Walk out
Full walk-on, ring announcer, licensed referee and ringside medics. Headguards, 16oz gloves, gumshields and groin guards throughout.

Why people come back
Real atmosphere
Walk-on music, ring announcer, haze and a full lighting rig. It reads as a proper fight card, not a student union event.
Anyone can fight
Matched on weight and experience, with eight weeks of coached training first. No experience needed.
Charity at the core
Every event raises money for a cause chosen by the RAVOK team. December 2025 raised £2,694 for Movember.
The afterparty
The card finishes, the ring comes down and the DJ keeps going. It is included in the ticket.
