RAVOK Fight Night

Hull's biggest white-collar student boxing series. Professional production, safety-first training, and every event raises thousands for charity. Two sold-out shows and counting.

What is RAVOK Fight Night?

RAVOK Fight Night is a white-collar boxing event built by students, for students. Fighters are everyday university students with no prior boxing experience who sign up, train for eight weeks under qualified coaches, and step into a professional 17-foot boxing ring in front of hundreds of their peers.

Every bout is supervised by licensed referees and ringside medical staff. Fighters wear full protective equipment — headguards, 16oz gloves, gumshields, and groin guards. Safety is non-negotiable; the whole point is that anyone can do it.

The production goes far beyond a boxing card. Think DJ sets, a full AV and lighting rig, LED walls, haze machines, and a purpose-built ring in a venue transformed for the night. The bar runs all evening, and there is always an official afterparty.

Most importantly, every Fight Night raises money for charity. Fight Night 1 supported Movember, and the series will continue to partner with causes that matter to the student community.

The Pilot

15 March 2025 — MKM Stadium, Hull

RAVOK's debut event and proof of concept. The first-ever white-collar student fight night in Hull, with around 300 attendees and a sponsorship from University Quarter.

Why People Come Back

  • Real atmosphere

Walk-on music, ring announcer, haze, lighting — it feels like a proper fight card, not a student union event.

  • Anyone can fight

Fighters are matched on weight and experience. Eight weeks of coached training before the event. No experience needed.

  • Charity at the core

Every event raises money for a cause chosen by the RAVOK team. FN1 supported Movember.

  • The afterparty

The card finishes, the ring comes down, and the DJ keeps going. The afterparty is as much a part of the night as the boxing.
